Environmental Policy
The Cannon Press is
committed to becoming as environmentally friendly as possible which is
achieved by
only
purchasing and using papers from paper merchants &
manufacturers who are FSC or PEFC accredited and comply with all
relevant
environmental laws.
The timber used in the production
of pulp which creates the paper comes from sustainable and
well-managed forests. The timber is treated as a crop with replanting
programmes exceeding the quantity of felled trees.
The use of toxic chemicals and solvents is avoided, where possible. All
waste chemicals, films and plates where used are collected by registered
waste carriers for recycling or safe disposal.
